Title: max open cursors exceeded
We have just gotten in a Sun StorEdge T3 Disk
Array for the database and future data warehouse. This T3 disk array has 18 hard
drives with 36 gigs of space each. Has anyone had any experiences, problems or
comments while setting up or using it.

I would think that the database name of testccl would need to be in double
quotes.

alter database datafile '/u02/oradata/MPDB/tie02.dbf' OFFLINE DROP;
shutdown normal
startup open;
The tablespace still cannot come back on-line. Am I missing a step?

Title: UNIX help needed for sed multi-line pattern space
I have just started working at a company and the database has never been
backed up since it was created. I am now performing an EXPORT of the
database and I am experiencing an EXPORT problem that I have never
encountered.
Has anyone
one encountered this problem before?
Thanks
Kevin

I cannot determine the size of the hard drives.
How many hard drives should I use for Oracle and what should be the
recommended size requirements for each hard drive?
Thanks, Kevin
