Why would taking an index off make this query faster? What doesn't the CBO

table WMT025_SP returns millisecond results
with or without parallel. The next two largest, WMT023 and WMT027 work
better with parallel than without.
I am stumped, and not sure what to look at next. Does anyone have any
insights that could point me in the right direction?

incremental commits in
their code rather than extending the size of the UNDO tablespace. What
extension to the datafile works today, may not work tomorrow because of a
larger number of changes.

every user querying our database would have copies of the
tables in the UNDO, and I'd need about a gazillion gb to handle that. Does
anyone have any insights on how the UNDO physically works?

find on OTN sends me to the vendor, but the vendor doesn't have anything

using a DB2 function or TS derived expression in terms of performance will
be comparable.
Do you have any insights or thoughts to share that may help me in this

g the database to do its job? It seems silly to me to put all of
your checks into code because changes and maintenance would just kill you,
not to mention consistency, or lack thereof.
Any insights into this would be appreciated.
