Lisa, are the servers actually running or are the idle? If you have parallel_min_servers set to something other than 0 then you will still see the servers in v$pq_sysstat they will just remain idle. I'm not sure about the degree 0, I was thinking it was the same as 1 (no parallelism) but I tried
