might check with Gaja to get "Buffer Ca$h Hit Ratio" displayed in the tool he is working on. Oracle can always
issue a "bug fix" to whoever complains... ;)

It's not about hit ratios! It's about how many bars the
group has to visit! Reduce the number of bars and you reduce the time it takes!
Remember, a High Hit Ratio but Slow Beer Consumption will make people very
unhappy!
