Yeah right... and not get the fees for the exams?
That was an analogy. Personally, I wish the OCP requirements included
at least one class in basic writing skills
Oh, and I was incorrect, as of last month, if you had not started the
certification process for OCP you are required to take the $200

I have an Assoc. EE, B.S. and an MBA. Does this mean Oracle will
automatically give me all three certificates?
Thanks,

think of it as
OCA is the Oracle equivalent of getting an Associate's degree from a
college
OCP is the Bachelor's degree
OCM is the Master's degree
not exact but close enough for Oracle.
The $2000 class is a requirement ONLY for OCM. Most companies do not
look for OCM on a resume, at least not
Hannah,
Main answer - Yes, you do.
You need this practice "hands-on" 2000$
exam for OCP if you are not OCP for any older versions. like 7, 8,
8i.
For OCM you need even more... 2 classes from Oracle
(which are costly) plus 2-days (not sure how many days) "hands-on" exam. Too
expensive. (hope
Hanna:
You can review this on Oracles web site. I believe that
the Masters certificate is the last in the line. First there is OCA, then
OCP and then OCP Masters (I believe). So I think what you end up with is
three OCP certifications.
