As to #1:  If you have C experience and enough Forms experience to
understand all the interdependencies between objects, and it is a simple
form, then go for it.  The online help has a specs on all the function
calls.  There is some need to reed between the lines, but it is not too bad.

The bonus is that once you understand the API, you can do some powerful
stuff.  (I have a batch compiler that is less than 100 lines of codes that
compiles a group of forms in less than half the time of a batch script)

Hi Listers,

I have the following questions:

1. I would like to generate Developer Forms fmb files through my C++
application. Is it difficult? Did any of you do similar things? I know Forms
have an API for this, but I don't know how complex is it. I have pretty
simple Forms. Should I try or should I forget it?
2. Does Oracle Designer 6i's Forms generator's revers engineering engine
preserve or recapture the Form layout modifications I make on the generated
Forms?
