David, The ulimit looks okay to me. The value shown is equivalent to 'unlimited'. While you are waiting for the OWS, try getting your alert.log analyzed for ORA-600 at http://www.unal-bilisim.com/products/iorabugfinder/iorabugfinder.html. It may find something that you may not have come across. A
