Well, I'd take a look at the fixed bug list for the 8.1.7.2 (since several people have said there are unspecified problems with 8.1.7.3). It's about a hundred pages long :), but if nothing there affects you you might be all right. I have 2 8.1.7.0 databases that have been running without
