he probably just quit. We all know alot of people who 'used to work for oracle'.
biggest downside is the lydian third site is gone. Had all the copies of his essays on
it. apparently oracle theratened to sue

Its sad and really very very sad that if oracle sacked
howard..because many of us have learnt oracle only
because of howard.I have cleared my OCP just because
of OCP.I still clearly remmeber the times when there
was not a single book avaiable and jsut managed to get
