instance one of th first things that gets done is to drop the resource
role. I also get rid of Connect too.

It's 'unlimited tablespace', and it's granted directly to the
user account when you grant 'resource'.
Whenever you grant the resource role, you should immediately
revoke 'unlimited tablespace' from that user.

Unlimited tablespace privilege is granted with resource role. This
privilege is granted directly to the user rather than through the resource
role. Hence you won't see this in dba_sys_privs view.

What privilege granted to the RESOURCE role allows a grantee to create a
table in any tablespace? I didn't see any relevent system privilege in the
view DBA_SYS_PRIVS nor in the various other view. Am I looking in the wrong
place?
