We are creating some Unix (DEC/Compaq/HP) ksh scripts to move data to a remote system and then execute SQL*Loader (Oracle 8.1.6). Logging in on the remote system, this works fine. If the commands are executed from the command line using rsh, it works fine. But when SQL*Loader is executed through

I have no idea why the same command would work differently on different machines if all other things are the same. Just a shot in the dark here: Sometimes rsh must be used with -n option (see man page.) Of course, you know using r commands is in hideous opposition to politically correct
