Is there a valid reason for any organization to have dedicated hardware for their own PaaS, isolated from the vagaries of multi-tenant environments (regardless of whether the hardware is hosted in a privately operated datacenter of your own or on dedicated equipment at a 3rd party hosting service)? What do you think? Are the benefits of simplifying the lives of software engineers with a PaaS (which allows fast deployments and iterations) worth it on dedicated servers?
