Must-haves Networking Experience or Cisco Product Exp.......... Java J2EE, SOA, EDA Clearcase, Eclipse Linux Web Services experience, SOAP Workflow development Ability to analyze, configure and troubleshoot large Cisco voice networks Is a technical expert in more than one area with a wide understanding of networking protocols and concepts Proven planning, prioritization and organizing skills Drive for continuous learning, results orientation and teamwork Ability to drive change through innovation & process improvement Agile development methodology and test automation is strongly preferred. Independently solve problems in broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed media and protocols Effectively utilizes lab setups to test and debug broad and complex problems Submits complete and correct DDTS reports in area of expertise with collaboration and supervision Solid foundation in IP network communications protocols Contribute to project planning prior to formal project start (i.e. sched! ules, equipment needs/costs, strategy, partner coordination for testing, stress & performance objectives Develop and contribute to the test strategy, test plans and test execution for multiple development projects; plan and configure the test beds. Projects may include functional, system level and performance testing. Design & write test cases reflecting the documented design plans. Execute test cases per test plan - collecting data on faults and reporting to the appropriate design team. Support the design team in debugging issues; isolate root cause of issues and partner with design/development team on resolution. Plan regression strategy and complete automated regression scripts per test plan. Tcl and SOAP experience required. Selenium experience a plus. Follow all standard Cisco Test practices. Develop test tools if required. Assist with maintenance of test networks and physical/hardware test environment ! Certify software releases for general availability to custome! rs. Ensure sufficient negative test coverage in product test plans. Implement product and regression test strategy. Lead and participate in the development of test automation.
