*Position : Teradata Developer* *Location : Beaverton OR* *Duration : Long term* *Rate : 50/hr.* *Role Description (Role & Responsibilities)* Extensive knowledge on Teradata Architecture, data ware housing concept & relational data bases, SQL scripting and Shell Scripting Experience on Teradata Tools (SQL Assistant) and Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump) Extensive knowledge on creation of database objects like tables, views, joins and indexes Ability to write efficient SQL & exposure to query tuning. Good knowledge of Teradata architecture. Must have worked in Teradata 12.0 or greater environments. Very good knowledge of Advanced Teradata concepts like Join strategy, Index choice, Performance Optimization, Compression, etc. Very good in Load/Unload Utilities like Mload, Fastload, FastExport ,TPT. Very good exposure to Data warehouse concepts. Support the application development teams for technical issues. Analyze and solve application and business defects Assist in troubleshooting software application issues. Troubleshoot technical issues and identify modifications needed in existing applications to meet changing user requirements.
