*Required Skills:*

   - Must be exceptionally strong in: *C++, Java* **
   - Must have experience developing high-performance, *distributed, n-tier,
   multi-threaded*, asynchronous applications in C++
   - Experience with *messaging middleware* and distribution technologies is
   required
   - Experience with *Linux/UNIX environment* to deploy the applications
   - *Multithreading, networking* and good design as well
   - Also needed is *some C# development*; need to be able to do some *light
   GUI work*.
   - *Strong SQL* experience
   - Experience with in-memory *high-performance databases*. *Sybase* is a
   big bonus.
   - Experience with *FIX protocol* **
   - Expertise in Build Systems/Automated Test Systems is a plus.
   - Any prior experience with *EMS* or *29 West* is nice to have
   - BS or above in Computer Science or similar field; MS or above strongly
   preferred



*Responsibilities include:*

   - Design and develop new features and enhancements according to business
   requirements
   - Play an active role in the *re-architecture of the system* aimed to
   increase capacity and performance
   - Participate in architecture, design and code reviews as part of a
   geographically disperse team
   - Provide technical guidance to junior developers in the team
