May be in future we can get in touch. * **Position : Biztalk Consultant* *Location : Redmond, WA* *Duration : Long Term Contract* The ASM-ICOE position requires someone with an understanding of BizTalk server (from an operations perspective), troubleshooting skills, IIS 6/7, and Project Management. While the individual is not expected to have BizTalk Server development skills, a majority of the position responsibilities are related to BizTalk Server troubleshooting and maintenance. The individual must be able to use the BizTalk Server Administration Management tool to troubleshoot suspended messages as well as verify AS2 messages were correctly transmitted. Furthermore, the individual must be able to work with SSL certificates as well as build out BizTalk Server environments and deploy projects to them. This includes an understanding of SQL Server clustering and networking. The individual will also act as a project manager from an ASM standpoint. While they will not be required to manage human resources and timelines for the project per se, they will need to operate with the understanding that they act as an agent of ASM-ICOE –to make sure that every deployment, upgrade, hotfix aligns with ASM-ICOE expectations and guidelines. With many of the projects in ASM-ICOE, there is a short ‘warranty period’ in which the development team will provide technical support to the ASM-ICOE team if anything breaks. After that time, they move on to new projects and ASM-ICOE must provide all support for the application. The following is a list of prerequisites for the position: *Technical* - Ability to Build out BizTalk Server 2009 clustered server environments. - Understanding of BizTalk Server Administration Console (Group Hub, suspend and retry queues) - BizTalk Server Backup SQL Jobs - Understanding of SQL Server 2008 clustering - Understanding of IIS 6 and IIS 7 - Windows Failover Clustering - Understanding of networking components (i.e. VLAN, SAN, VIP, MSDTC, HLB) - SSL Certificates - SQL Server query experience - Enter bugs in TFS * * *Troubleshooting* - Linear troubleshooting ability, working with a ticketing system and people who are not familiar with the difference between BizTalk Server and other errors. - Troubleshooting BizTalk Server error messages - Perform routine maintenance (security patches, service account password changes, and downtimes) * * *Project Management* - Reporting and customer facing experience (Weekly Status Reports, project documentation) - Ability to work with Project Managers, but understand that you represent ASM-ICOE - Understanding that ASM is expected to support applications after development - Ability to work with ASM-ICOE team members (FTEs) * Thanks & Regards, Bhageerath| Sr. Resourcing Specialist SYSTEL INC.
