· *Works independently in trouble-shooting and providing technical and
developer support for products / solutions via email, chat etc.*

· *Makes changes based on client specifications and company standards for
installations/enhancements.*

· *Performs administrative and other duties as assigned. *

· *Typically interactions are with systems administration teams at client
locations. *

· *Responsible for escalation at the right time to field support / higher
levels. May guide new members of team. *

· *Network LAN(L3)Design / Planning / Allocation of IP Address, Subneting,
Supernetting, CIDR, VLSM on IP Ver4*

· *Expert understanding of Design and Implementation concepts in VLAN, STP,
VTP, Trunking, ISL, 802.1q, switching infrastructure.*

· *Should be able to troubleshoot complex LAN network related issues on L2
and L3 Switches.*

· *Able to do Load balancing configuration using HSRP, VRRP,GLBP
techniques. on Routers and Switches.*

· *Configure and implement TACACS, Radius servers and enabling the same on
Routers and Switches.*

· *Expert Knowledge on Wireless LAN Controller, Access points configuration
and IEEE 802.11 suite*

· *Expert understanding of Inter-VLAN Routing, L2/L3 routing, Access List,
configuration etc..*

· *Ability to troubleshoot priority incidents, handle escalations from
L1-L2 engine*

· *Recommend Tools for network performance monitoring and tuning.*

· *Expert understanding of Cisco 2900-to-6500 series switches, Inter VLAN
routing and Access List configurations, TACACS configuration , MLS QOS
configuration etc.*

· *Ability to act as Escalation support for Various Devices that support
Network Management, Performance Management, Traffic Shaping, Bandwidth
Management, IP Address Management*

· *Ability to identify and recommend the right product and configuration to
suit the business needs*

· *Ability to lay down procedures and Design / Plan / Allocation of IP
Address, Subneting, Supernetting, CIDR, VLSM on IP Ver4*

· *Recommend Best practices in Configuration and fine tune Load balancers&
Packet Shapers Design and Implement HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, Load balancers*

· *Architecture on products like CSS/CSM/F5/Radware platforms.
Implementation of Load Balancing algorithms as per business needs.*

· *Excellent knowledge of TCP/UDP application & port numbers.*

· *Ability to Implement and configure IP DSLAM, xDSL Routers, Modems and
CSU/DSU's, IP Data Multiplexers for Chanalised Circuits aggregation.*

· *Should be able to Design and Implement complex LAN Topoloyg with
multiple VLAN's Able to provide Technical escalation support forL1/L2 teams
on Routing configuration issues.*

· *Expert knowledge in various routing protocols likeRIP1, RIP2, EIGRP and
OSPF.*

· *Develop RCA's and Network Analysis for complex P1 incidents.*

· *Implement and Configure Metro Ethernet standards, Technology concepts,
various elements used in the network and first level diagnostics.*

· *Able to Implement and configure OSPF Network topology based on business
needs.*

· *Able to provide Expert level consultancy on Advanced features like,
DMVPN, PKI/CA, NAC, IPS/IDS, MARS*

· *Very good understanding of routing protocols like RIP/OSPF/BGP specially
on Cisco Security appliance like PIX/ASA/VPN Concentrator *

· *Expert knowledge on Network attacks and mitigation, Spoofing, uRPF, TCP
Intercepting, content filtering Knowledge on sniffers, Protocols Analyzers *

· *Ability to design and architect medium size network*

· *Ability of Capacity planning, Trend Analysis Ability to do RCA
