Requirements: · 3-5 Years’ Experience · BS in Computer Science or Related systems; · ITIL Experience; Demonstrated experience leading application, network, and systems implementations; · Experience in working with and communicating with customers · Preferred experience with FDA or other regulated industry policies and guidelines · Ability to work independently with focus towards company vision and direct; · Linux/Unix System Experience; MS Project · Language and Communication Skills - English; Verbal and written The role of the HITS Release Engineer is to manage, lead and coordinate all aspects of release management for the product offering. Release management includes planning, coordinating and integration across various functions to support code release to our customer base. The Release Engineer will create a Release Plan to be updated regularly to include all aspects for a given release, resource assignments, and key milestones working closely with the Product Team. Responsibilities include implementing a release management strategy for both one-off fixes and coordinated Service Pack updates. The Release Engineer will interface directly with various stakeholders by coordinating and defining priorities and future release content, manage the coordination of all release activities, and work closely with the Project Managers and technical teams to assure progress and mitigate any issues impacting the releases. The associate will also be reporting on progress of such releases. Finally, the Release Engineer will be responsible for Configuration Management of the customer systems. That is, document and manage the configuration of the client systems to ensure consistent and managed systems in the environment.
