Job Title : Jr. Business Analyst. Location: McLean, VA. Duration: 6+months Contract. Rate : $40/hr Corp to Corp. Description: Responsible for gathering, validating and analyzing large volumes of data (i.e., servicer records, vendors transactions, invoices data.). Plan, execute, and document analysis of data. Create regularly scheduled and/or ad hoc reports. Document reporting requirements and validate data components. Query and mine data sets to discover transaction patterns, uncover anomalies and filter for targeted information Perform data quality control and develop daily and weekly reports in accordance with senior management guidance Balance multiple tasks and other responsibilities. Regularly interacts with senior management regarding the reporting and data concerning servicers and vendors. Other duties as assigned Junior (1-3 years) Top 3/4 required skills with years of experience 2 + years related experience. Extensive knowledge and experience in data mining, and analysis. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Undergraduate degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science or Management Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or Mathematics Highly Desired! Prior mortgage industry (such as Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac) experience HAMP knowledge is highly desired. SQL Server and SAS skills desired. Qualitative Skills: Professional demeanor Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential.
