In Scope • Production Support: Provide non-code fix and emergency code fix Proactive monitoring of the applications, analyze and resolve failed transactions Provide data fix to resolve production issues Root cause analysis of issues 24X7 rotating support Incident reporting and follow up Onsite only: Follow technical response and resolution times per SLA for all severity items. • Support for all releases that include coding and testing (user interface and batch) for the following Projects, major, and minor enhancements Non-emergency fixes Legal, compliance, regulatory and security requirements Support creation of ad-hoc reports and data extracts Business initiatives • Documentation Creation of all documents, but not limited to design, process flow, logical and physical data model, that are required for all releases. Create business requirements document, test cases and test results that are required for Service Desk Development of implementation playbooks, rollback plans, and launch support that are required for all releases. Completion and provide regular updates of system related documents to keep it current Immediate and timely response to audit expectations Follow and document IT general controls • All deliverables (including offshore) must meet technology standards and QA performance expectations (including load, capacity and endurance tests) • Support in analysis of new business initiatives • Resolution of technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation • Job scheduling and monitoring • Coordination with infrastructure, architecture, security, and QA • Coordination with 3rd party vendor • Coordinate with off shore teams • Regular meetings with video conferencing for offshore resources with application leads • Senior developers are expected to have 5-7 years of experience in technical expectations Out of Scope • Provide Level-1 support (Application Help Desk) • Server Software Tools/Installation and support • DBA activities • Monitor scripting for server tools • Infrastructure support Resource Technical Expectations Onsite and offshore resources (Senior Developer, Intermediate Developer, and Developer) must exhibit experience in the following areas • Strong understanding of Web technology • Expertise in Java 6 and above • Expertise in Web application and Persistence frameworks • Experience with JBoss AS in Linux environments • Knowledge of relational databases, schema design and implementation, JDBC, and SQL • Knowledge of Unix shell scripting • Hands on experience in XML, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JAXP, JAXB, SOAP, Web Services, Messaging Queues • Hands on ability to develop, debug application using Eclipse • Experience in Spring MVC, Spring Security framework, EXT JS, JSP, AJAX, Java Script • Experience in OR framework, JDBC, Hibernate, Spring persistence • Experience in XML parsing technologies and framework • Experience in identifying, troubleshooting, fixing application performance issues • Experience with interfacing via MQ a plus Optional Technical Requirements • Knowledge on Responsive web design • Experience in Web UI frameworks such as Bootstrap , AngularJS • Experience in scripting frameworks such as Node.js • Experience in API development using frameworks such as StrongLoop.
