*Lead .Net Developer * *Duration: 2 Years * *Location: Tallahassee,FL* *Description: * · Report to the Enterprise Architecture Manager · Mentor Department staff in the use of .Net, Visual Studio, SQL Server and Oracle. · Work closely with Business analysts, software architects, software developers ‘project managers and customers to develop documented business requirements and technical specifications. · Develop and/or modify project and technical documentation as required. · Develop new .Net web, smart client and console applications, based on the Department’s existing .Net enterprise framework, that meet the needs of defined business requirements and technical specifications. · Participate in agile development teams. · Provide software maintenance for existing .Net Applications. · Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repairing existing .Net applications *Skills and Abilities:* · Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively (verbally and in writing) with technical ad user staff. · Demonstrated experience as a technical team lead for database driven application development projects – 2+ years required · Demonstrated experience with coaching/mentoring other developers with Microsoft technologies · Demonstrated experience with developing database driven web applications. · Demonstrated experience with developing database driven applications in a Microsoft C# .Net environment · Experience with SQL Server, Oracle · Demonstrated experience with Object- Oriented Development · Demonstrated experience with 3-tiered logical/Physical architecture applications. *Preferred Skills:* · Demonstrated experience with SQL Server Reporting Services ( SSRS ). · Demonstrated experience working on development projects utilizing agile development techniques. · Demonstrated experience working with users to gather and document business requirements. · Demonstrated experience working with SQL Server Integration Services to support ETL processing · Experience with screen/web layout and design. · Demonstrated experience with automated Unit Testing. · Demonstrated experience with Model-View Presenter Pattern.
