Position:1) Java Developer Location: Atlanta GA (Need Locals) Duration: 6months 3 Openings ( 1 need Inperson & 2 on phone hire) Description: Design, develop and implement web-based applications using , Spring Framework, Hibernate, J2EE, Servlets, EJB, XML, JavaScript, JDBC, Struts, Websphere Portal/Process Servers and Rational Unified Process (RUP). Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions Develop prototype code to validate architectural design decisions, ensuring maintainability, performance, security and scalability. Configure BEA WebLogic, IBM Websphere and JBOSS application servers; integrate business process and architecture; and provide technical support; work with the teams to translate business strategies and requirements into solutions. Required Skills The Java Developer must possess the following skills: * Strong knowledge of Java programming, Spring/Hibernate, Struts, Java Servlets, Web Services, Enterprise Java Beans, JDBC, Java Server Pages, and SOAP. * Strong grasp of UML and design patterns. * Excellent understanding of Internet web application architectures and internet application design. * Strong database/SQL skills. * Familiarity with middleware products such as MQ Series a plus. * Familiarity with Groovy/Grails, GWT or AJAX a plus. * Ability to make educated, critical judgments in the absence of complete information. * As the technical driving force behind the project, demonstrated leadership skills, project management experience and strong communication skills are required. * Knowledge of Iron Data products is considered a plus. * Ability to identify, clarify and resolve issues and risks, escalating them as needed COMMUNICATION SKILLS * Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills are a must for day to day contact with clients on a face to face and one on one basis. * Ability to read, analyze data and follow procedures. * Ability to write business correspondence and procedures. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
