Duration: 6 Months Location: Dallas, TX *FACE TO FACE INTERVIEW NEEDED* *Skill:* * * RedHat * Solaris 10* Storage Devices Sun/Solaris Hardware *Requirements: * Linux, Solaris, VMware, Shell Scripting 6+ years combined hands-on experience supporting Solaris and Redhat Demonstrated high proficiency in Solaris 10 and Linux Administration Solid understanding of a UNIX-based operating systems Solid understanding of networking concepts and principles of routing with regards to firewall access Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware configuration problems Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation Strong knowledge of TCP/IP Networking Understands boot process and run levels, paging and swapping, inter-process communication, functions of devices and device drivers and file system concepts Solaris Packages and RPM maintenance and participate in patch management Knowledge of capacity monitoring and management of UNIX servers Knowledge of Jump/Kick start server along with network installation a must A proven ability to meet and adapt to new challenges.
