Helps to manage interface engine environment, providing system technical level support to eGate, eLink, ConnectR and the Allscripts Interface Sub System (ISS). Coaches and mentors less senior level team members. *Essential Duties:* · Oversees cross training and provides mentoring for less senior Interface Developers on interface configuration, coding and technical knowledge of interface engines. · Leads escalation of technical issues with interface engine(s) with appropriate internal resources. · Coordinates updates, upgrades and maintenance tasks for interface engine for optimal performance and functionality · Assists with developing and establishing coding standards for the integration team. · Administers routine operational maintenance takes for eGate to ensure proper operating efficiencies. · Collaborates with Integration Analysts to develop data integration solutions to meet the business needs and requirements of customer requests and projects. Proposing technical solutions to solve integration related issues. · Codes interface programs per defined specifications requirements and design, develop and configure all required components of the interface engine for building interfaces. · Establishes communication set up in interface engines between receiving and sending systems. · Conducts thorough unit and string tests · Identify technical alternatives/improvements and present them to management. · Supports/troubleshoots Hospital Information Systems inbound/outbound interfaces as appropriate. · Provides technical documentation for the eGate environment which includes the message flow for each interface, multiple schema design for interfaces and performance metrics. · Assists in troubleshooting interface engine log errors as needed. · Provides technical support for integration environment and helps to manage interface components. · Performs on-call duties as required responding and resolving help desk tickets and alerts.
