*Job Description:*
Technical environment (.NET, Oracle, Websphere, etc.)
· Strong background in System Administration of MS/Java solutions
· Platform Scripting and Deployment of solutions on MS Windows and
Unix platforms
· Good understand of Application stack build on MS / Java stack and
related tools (Messaging, Application Services etc.)
· Understand how the application stack handles security
(authentication / authorization)
· Must have experience working on IT projects with personal
accountability for deliverables
· Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented,
collaborative environments.
· High communication skills with team members
· Experience working in a global environment with a project team
dispersed across multiple countries.
· Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through
analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
· Flexible during times of change.
· Strong written and oral communication skills – ability to
coordinate meetings and online collaboration
· Strong interpersonal skills.
Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and concerns –
identifying impact to scope, budget and timeline
*Responsibilities:*
- Build reference infrastructure Architectures
- Develop the scripts to setup the infrastructure and decommission when
required (automated setup and decommission).
- The scripts develop must be portable across platforms
- Consistency in the approach and quality of deliverables
- Test the setup through available load to validate the architecture
- Use reference to the Software Architecture Document which would
include
- Solution Architecture (Eg. Relativity, Nuix, CFM etc.)
- Infrastructure architecture & Setup
- Proof of Concept
- Script to perform the infrastructure setup and decommission
- Develop and maintain documentation : Software Design Document
related to how the scripts are designed and to be executed
- Work closely Architecture team (Solution, Security and Infrastructure
)
*Project Description:*
The project is automate the setup and decommission of environment for
Development and Testing (i.e. simulating a production like environment)
that can be used by engagement / IT staff to validate changes to production
without affecting BAU. Two primary objectives are
1. Validate the performance of applications in the Development
environment
2. Develop a repeatable process to setup and decommission environments
This work will be done on MS Azure platform or Rack space and will involve
a number of applications that the FIDS team uses.
