Below is the job description:* *Position : Lead Business Analyst – Mentor* *Duration : 6+ month contract position* *Location : Eagan, MN * Candidates local to Minneapolis are required for this position. Qualifications: • Experience in IT Infrastructure standards and process development are required. • Business Analyst experience including the use of best practices. • Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs (especially infrastructure related needs) and translate them into application and operational requirements. • Proven ability to comprehend technical systems and processes and possess the technical knowledge needed to work with the infrastructure, development and quality assurance teams at a detailed level. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of subject matter experts. • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to work well with other business areas, often under tight deadlines. • Strong problem solving and decision making skills. • Typical candidates will possess 7-10 years of relevant experience and BA/BS Degree or equivalent. • Understands complex business processes and is able to document them in a logical and comprehensible manner. • Infrastructure SME • Advanced experience with Microsoft Word; Intermediate experience with Microsoft Visio • Possesses familiarity with a variety of development methods, including Agile and Waterfall, and how it applies to own area of work.
