*Network Engineer* *Location: Livingston, NJ*
*Duration: 3 months with likely extension* *Rate: DOE* *Plans, designs and implements Local Area Network's (LAN's), MAN's and WAN'srelated enhancements or upgrades to support changes and growth within the technology enterprise. Primary duty is to design, test, and evaluate network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Internet, intranet, and other data communications systems. Primarily tasked with designing or re-designing corporate network design schema as well as continually reviewing best practices and regulations to ensure the network is secure, optimized and redundant in service availability. Further responsibility includes, implementation and management of all network based hardware resources and associated systems. Looking for a strong senior network engineer who has experience with designing, configuring and implementing Cisco networking devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CCVP, etc) is required. The person should have good project/time management skills as well.
