Job Title- SR. Java developer Experience Level- 10 Years Location- Alviso (near Santa Clara), CA Start Date- ASAP Duration- 6+ Months Job Description: . MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IS- Eclipse plug-ins . 10+ years of experience developing Java and web applications . 5+ years of Eclipse plug-in development experience . A proven track record of developing and deploying Eclipse plug-ins. . Excellent Java and web application development knowledge. . Excellent Object Oriented design and analysis skills . Experience in developing Mylyn connectors, IDE extensions is a plus. . Knowledge of Web application Frameworks like JBOSS, SPRING or RUBY on RAILS is a plus. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Experience mentoring and imparting Eclipse knowledge to a team that is new to Eclipse. . Prior experience working in an Agile environment is a plus. Develop detailed technical designs from requirements and implement the functionality . Develop Junit based unit tests . Participate in code reviews. . Guide the team towards the adoption of best practices in Eclipse and web services development . Impart eclipse knowledge to the team and review the designs of other team members. . Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and make recommendations . BS in CS is a must. MS is desirable.
