Job Description:

 

Department of Education is currently seeking a candidate who possesses
architecture, administration and maintenance abilities for Identity
Management along with Directory Services expertise. Successful candidate
will serve as a Tivoli Identity Management administrator and deployment
specialist responsible for deploying and supporting a complex ITIM
deployment. This includes building, maintaining and enhancing the Tivoli
Directory Integrator (TDI) connectors, assembly lines, identifying workflows
and relevant user interfaces. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

*       Serves as in-house expert on best practices and efficient solutions
supporting the Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy to ensure
proper implementation and leveraging of the Identity Management solutions.
*       Responsible for the developing, designing and customizing TDI codes
needed to automatically create, manage, and delete user access to various
system resources such as files, servers, and applications.  This includes
monitoring Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) ChangeLog to trigger
TDI applications to process identity data. 
*       Establishes service specifications to other systems including
permissions modification, deletion, role definitions, reclassification and
other similar access management related functions.
*       Translates the business processes currently used for granting user
rights and privileges to DOE applications into deliverable technological
solutions.
*       Maintains the enterprise identity management infrastructure and
performs considerable work in the development and implementation of
workflows and data integration/transformations in an identity management
system using a Tivoli Identity Manager (TIM) workflow engine.
*       Plans, implements and supports an enterprise identity management
infrastructure.
*       Installs, configures and maintains end-to-end Tivoli Identity
Manager environment (TIM, WAS, TDS, DB2) on a Windows platform.
*       Develops, documents and implements applications to transform and
load data into Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) from Resource
Access Control Facility (RACF), SQL Server, DB2, Flat Files, Active
Directory and custom in house .NET Applications.  
*       Develops applications to change and update LDAP Dynamic Groups and
loads data from LDAP into Flat Files and Active Directory.
*       Develop front-end user interfaces for identity workflow
applications.

*       Writes and test Extract Transfer Load (ETL) scripts and utilizes
JavaScript to modify system parameters and to read, interpret and create
regular expressions

 

Qualifications:

 

*       Ability to understand and design solutions that consider integration
of heterogeneous environments and systems is essential.
*       Hands on experience on IBM Tivoli Directory Server installation,
creation and configuration of ITDS instances.
*       Experience in custom schema modification, server administration of
ITDS.
*       Experience working with LDIF files.
*       Experience working with secured directory access, SSL and TLS.
*       Expertise in access control list (ACL), users, dynamic groups and
roles.
*       Experience in ITDS Replication and Proxy setup. 
*       Perform Performance Tuning, Online Backup and Restore.
*       Experience in performing Log Management, Change Log and Tombstone.
*       Heavy Active Directory and Directory Services knowledge necessary.
*       Hands-on project experience designing and implementing custom
identity workflows, resource provisioning and role based access controls.
*       Must be able to write custom business logic code into
workflows/assembly lines.
*       Hands-on project experience with IBM Tivoli Identity Manager and
Tivoli Directory Integrator.
*       Basic administration skills with Websphere Application Server
required.
*       Strong VBScript and JavaScript writing and reading skills.
*       Knowledge of SOA-based security (e.g., web services, WS-Security,
SAML, XACML, etc.) is a plus.
*       Experience in modifying system parameters and reading, interpreting
and creating regular expressions.
*       Experience in competing Identity Management products a plus.
*       Working knowledge of Web protocols (Hypertext Transfer Protocol
(HTTP) and Extensible Markup Language (XML)).
*       Working knowledge and experience in JavaScript, Java Coding, SQL,
DB2, Web Services, LDAP, XML, Active Directory, TIM, and TDI; J2EE
experience a strong plus. 
*       Knowledge of operating-system administration skills for Windows 2003
server.
