*Job Title: Applications Development Analyst Location – Orlando, FL Duration-6+ months* *Responsibilities: * Build new systems and/or modify existing systems; Develop new functionality on our existing software products; Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through knowledge-sharing presentations; Augment staff to reduce backlog of state reporting work tickets; Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions; Involve in the full systems life cycle and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting applications software that is delivered on time and within budget; Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code; Participate in component and data architecture design, monitor performance, evaluate product and assist in buying vs. building issues; Mentor junior developers. * Requirements: * Experience as a Developer (5+ years) (lead developer would be a plus); Experience with ASP.NET / VB.NET (3+ years); Experience with SQL Server (2005/2008 preferred) (2+ years); Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance; Experience with NET3.5 / 4.0 Framework, including Visual Studio 2008, ADO.NET; Experience with software implementation best practices; Experience designing and optimizing SQL Server 2008 stored procedures; Experience mentoring junior developers; Relationship management skills; Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
