*Title:* *Clarity Resource developer* posted on 2013-09-18 14:37:09 *Job Description:*The Functional/Technical Contractor will have responsibilities for development and implementation of ITS requirements within Clarity version 13.2. This responsibility includes working in Sandbox, DEV, QA and PROD system environments. The Contractor will coordinate all requirement activities with assigned ITS Clarity project manager and ITS technical and functional teams. Responsibility also includes preparation of system documentation using the World Bank document templates as provided. Contractor must have experience in successful implementation of the 13.2 version, as well as solution architecting and functional proficiency in project management. References are required. In addition, contractor will be required to be on-shore and on-site in Washington DC location for 12 months beginning September 30, 2013. *Job Requirements:* The responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: *Clarity Functional / Technical* TaskDescriptionUpgrades· Upgrade Assessment of Version 12.1 · Impact Analysis and Plan Version Upgrade · Work with the Clarity team on Upgrading Clarity to 13.2 · Post Upgrade Support · User Training on New Version featuresClarity Core Modules ( Idea / Demand , Project and Resource Management) · Implement Project Management Module · Configure Project Templates · Implement Project initiation and execution and monitoring in Clarity · Implement Demand Management with Ideas Processes and Workflows· Design , Develop and Configure Processes in Clarity · Update / Modify existing workflows Financial Management· Implement Financial Management module · Cost Plans, Budget Plans and Approvals · Financial Transactions · Maintain imported financials from other systems such as SAP Clarity Studio and Configuration· Objects , Attributes , Pages , Lookups and Sections configuration, modifications and Migration · Portlet design, configuration , development and deployment Portfolio Management· Implement Portfolio Management in Clarity · Design and Implement Annual Portfolio Planning, Approval and Monitoring in Clarity using new Portfolio Management Module in 13.2 Studio (Partitioning)· Configure and Manage Clarity Partitions to support various business unitsSecurity Model · Design, implement, configure and maintain Clarity Security ModelClarity Administration· Day to Day operations and administration of Clarity working with Clarity team System Interfaces· Manage existing Interfaces with Clarity system · Design and implement new interfaces with 3rd party system within the organization Data Migration· Perform Data and Configuration migration between various Clarity environments (Dev, QA and Production) Data Modeling· Work with Clarity Data model to design and develop data views and solutionsPortfolio Reporting and Dashboard · Manage and Update existing Portfolio reports and Dashboards · Design, implement and maintain new Clarity DashboardsPortlets / Reports and NSQL · Design, develop and Deploy new portlets and Reports · Work with NSQL as requiredCrystal Reports / WEBI· Design and develop Clarity Crystal / WEBI reports as required working with the Clarity team GEL Scripting / SOAP· Manage / Update or Modify existing GEL scripts as required · Design and Implement new GEL script based Processes PLSQL· Work with Oracle PLSQL as required to develop various solutions Contractor will also explain their approach and solution for the upgrade to Clarity 13.2, including: (a) Identify and analyze the opportunities inherent in upgrading (b) Analysis of the most effective way to upgrade, both technically and functionally, creating a detailed 13.2 implementation. (c) Identify any pre-requisites not currently implemented in the current application that are required for the upgrade. (d) Review current application configuration values and make recommendations for possible updates. (e) Analyze the current customized reports and recommend which reports to upgrade and what reports are standard in new version. (f) Coordinate with ITS to ensure that hardware and depend systems are compatible with 13.2 upgrade configuration. This includes following Enterprise Architecture and information security standards. (g) Document requirements for training. Including specific and major differences between versions (h) A dedicated project manager will be provided by ITS and the expected services and documentation for the project as produced by the contractor will include but may not be limited to the following: (i) Project Charter (ii) Project Scope (iii) Financial Management/Budget Plan A. Identify and present increase in support cost associated with Upgrade B. Identify and present costs associated with upgrade C. Identify and present dependent systems cost D. Identify and present application licensing cost increases with deployment of new modules and or functionality E. Identify and present costs associated with any hardware changes F.
