*Title:* *SQL Server DBA* posted on 2013-08-06 16:49:27 *Job Description:*Sr. SQL Server DBA Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration : 3 Months Only GC/ citizen / EAD Job Description: • Around 8+ years of experience in Database Administration in SQL Server for production support( 24/7) • Good in Database Administration on Production Servers with server configuration, performance tuning and maintenance with outstanding troubleshooting capabilities. • Administering SQL Server High Availability. • Good in Database backup and recovery models. • Worked on Database migration activity • Expertise on high availability like Replication, Database mirroring, Log shipping and clustering • Strong technical background along with the ability to perform business analysis and write effective documentation • Hands on experience of developing applications using Sql Server 2000,2005,2008 and 2012 DBA. • Very good experience in Installation, configuration and maintenance of SQL Server. • Excellent backend skills in creating SQL objects like Tables, Stored Procedures, Views, Indexes, Triggers, Rules, Defaults, user defined data types and functions. • Very good T-SQL Programming skills. Experience in query optimization & performance tuning.
