*Position : Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant/Developer* *Contract: 6 Months* *Location: Boston MA* The Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant will play a key role in leading the architecture, design and implementation of existing Customer Hub in the latest release of MDM tool. He or she will play a critical role in upgrading the existing 9.5.1 version of the Informatica tool to the latest version. Also, he or she should be able to decipher what the existing code is doing, and how it can be redeveloped in the new version. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Assessment of Existing Environment · The Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant is responsible for reviewing and documenting current MDM environment including: o MDM Hub version and installed components o Infrastructure/platform applications – application server, database server, IDD browser, Java JRE o MDM functionality including: · Database user exits · IDD user exits · Match rules · Cleanse rules · IDD configuration · Hierarchy Manager · SIF · SQL user exists · Stored procedures o Customizations of MDM code o Business and technical requirements · The Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant must also identify new functionality and capabilities incorporated in the new release to determine: o Configuration or other changes needed to maintain existing functionality o Changes needed to capitalize on desired new functionality · Develop upgrade approaches for each environment (e.g., Development, QA, and Production) · Assist in developing a detailed upgrade plan Refactoring/Redevelopment of existing custom codes and Upgrading the MDM platform · The Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant must partner with Client technical team in identifying all the existing custom code that will need to be either refactored or redeveloped in the new version · The Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant must also document high level solution architecture of all the changes, as well as expected outcome from the new solution · The Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Consultant must also partner with Clienttesting team in developing test strategy and test plans · Assist in developing a plan to rollout the changes to each environment (e.g., Development, QA, and Production) · Develop MDM code adhering to the revised architecture and best practice standards · Lead the upgrade of MDM platform from current 9.5.1 version to the latest version · Build best practices, reusable components and solution accelerators on Informatica MDM · Provide guidance and mentor implementation team members Skills · Must have good understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) architectures and business processes · Must have designed/architected and implemented end-to-end Siperian MDM/Informatica MDM including Informatica Data Director (IDD) · Must have hands-on experience with Informatica MDM Hub configurations - Data modeling & Data Mappings (Landing , staging and Base Objects) , Data validation , Hierarchy Management, Match and Merge rules, writing and customizing user exits , customizing/configuring Informatica data director (IDD) applications · Experience in integrating business application with Informatica MDM hub using Batch process, SIF and message queues · Good knowledge in PL/SQL, especially PL/SQL user exists in MDM environment · Strong Java knowledge · Good Knowledge of Data Quality tool (Informatica IDQ) · Good Knowledge of ETL Tool (Informatica Power Centre) · Good Unix/Linux knowledge · Understanding of SOA, Data integration, Data Quality, data architecture and Master Data Management, project life cycle Phases, best practices and processes · Knowledge of Data Management Concepts *Thanks and Regards,* *Ishant* Sr. IT Recruiter Technocraft Solutions LLC 3974 Brown Park Drive, Suite F Hilliard, Ohio-43026 *Email*: *ish...@technocraftsol.com* <ish...@technocraftsol.com> *Contact*: *(972)2324173 Ext 113* *Yahoo ID / Gmail ID*: *ishant.technocraft* Technocraft Solutions |www.technocraftsol.com |www.xdimensiontech.com *Partner with XDimension Technology* *Note: Technocraft Solutions LLC works with Direct Client’s and Preferred Vendors Nationwide. * *Your confirmation would means that you understand the level of Technocraft Solutions LLC association for the mentioned project and will not approach Technocraft Solutions LLC Client directly* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
