Job Title: QA (BI) Tester Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Duration: 6+ Months Contract Business Intelligence (BI) Tester Role/Responsibilities: This individual works under the direction of a Test Lead to test complex enterprise-wide systems solutions. The primary duties for this position include but are not limited to: Analyze requirements and identify applicable test scenarios Author test cases Execute test cases Identify and document defects found during testing Be available and able to support developers with the reproduction and resolution of defects “Ramp up” quickly to a proficient level on new processes, tools and technologies Demonstrate high “Speed of Delivery” Qualifications: The Tester must possess strong problem solving and communication skills. The individual must be flexible, dependable, capable of multi-tasking, and quickly learning complex concepts. Expert in BI and data warehouse testing with an understanding of HP-Quality Center testing tool and experience for applying these to the overall Test process. The Tester will have a solid understanding of: Test process/methodology Test tools (HP Quality Center) Solid understanding of SSAS, SSRS and SSIS based systems (5+ years experience) Ability to write complex SQL Query experience (mandatory). (SQL developer experience will be highly preferred) Solid understanding of Functional, ETL and Report testing Working knowledge of SSAS Cube The ideal candidate will have hands on testing experience for testing related to the ETL, SSRS report and SSAS Cube.
