Experience:
Experience in reviewing system documentation; and preparation of test
planning and test execution documentation.
Proficiency with business software (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio
etc.).
Strong written and verbal English skills, with ability to generate complex
technical documents and to brief development staff on defects detected.
Experienced with automated testing.
Ability to work on problems of diverse scope and multiple
technologies. Should have an understanding of the system components that
may be the source of defects such as the database, hardware, middleware,
application code, user interface, batch processes, etc.
Ability to work independently or with cross-functional teams as required.
Detail oriented.
Extensive experience with administering, configuring, upgrading and
using Rational Tool Set - Clearquest, RQM, RSA, ReqPro, RFT, ClearCase.
Rational Tools Administrator and IBM Trainer certifications required.
