*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY* Description of Project: This position will be working on the AMI project supporting a variety of subprojects. Job responsibilities would include: Work with Business PM on requirements gathering including use cases and screen mockups, etc Facilitation of sessions to develop the functional specification. Must posses excellent people and meeting management skills Work with technical design team to translate functional specs into technical specifications. Help maintain technical documentation Skills and knowledge should be those typical to IT business analysts, including but not limited to: Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tolls, etc. Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations. Ability to comfortably handle changing priorities in a dynamic environment Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects or tasks Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Use and implementation of modeling tools The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of business analysis processes and project management methodologies with a minimum of 3 years business analyst experience in an applications development environment and prior experience in IT.
