*The ideal candidate should have experience in back office application and database development in a highly transactional e-commerce type organization. Database development experience should have an emphasis on data modeling, schema, stored procedure and trigger design and construction in a T-SQL environment.* ** *Essential Functions Deliver high quality applications/services, code line, and documentation Build or modify database objects using T-SQL, and perform unit testing and build delivery Author clear and effective technical analysis and technical design documentation Work within a Scrum team to produce quality deliverables Support QA by participating in test plan reviews, attending triage meetings and providing bug fixes Provide system support as necessary, including but not limited to after hours on-call support Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Sponsors to ensure business requirements and functional specifications are complete and consistent Perform code reviews and peer reviews Handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines, while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress Experience and Qualifications:* ** *Experience in Java (J2SE) Working knowledge of OO design and common design patterns Working experience with SOA and creating web/windows services Experience with automated, fault-tolerant, checkpoint/step-restartable application and stored procedure design Strong experience writing stored procedures, triggers and SQL queries using Transact-SQL Experience with query optimization strategies, concurrency management, locking contention, isolation levels, and database performance Strong working knowledge of data modeling and schema design Experience with recognized industry patterns, methodologies, and techniques Proven track record of delivering quality deliverables Strong communication and organizational skills Experience working in an Agile development environment Experience working in a Sybase ASE 15.x environment preferred PowerBuilder experience preferred SSRS development preferred * ** *Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience* ___________________________________ br...@rivieraconsult.com; 973-893-7276 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle-Projects" group.
