Job Title : Sr Java Developer Location : Wilmington, DE. Duration : 6 month + contract Local or Nearby highly preferred. Experience & Qualifications: 7-10 years experience building high-availability Java applications that interact with multiple systems. Core Java Spring, Spring MVC Velocity templates OR JSP In-depth knowledge of web presentation methods (HTML, XSL, etc.). Experience with software development on commercial or enterprise projects Experience with multi-tier system design and implementation. Proven ability to work independently and part of a team to successful implement projects. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Strong Analytical skills Agile is highly preferred, but not a required skill Database skills: writing SQL queries, stored procedures in Oracle; JDBC against Oracle MUST HAVE Strong communication skills In-depth knowledge of Java including JUNIT, ANT In-depth knowledge of XML including XSLT and XPATH. Nice to have includes PL/SQL Deployment familiarity of J2EE Knowledge of enterprise application design patterns.
