Position:Sr. Java Developer Location:Northridge, CA Duration:5+ Month Contract *upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test* Position Responsibilities: • This programmer shall be part of a web development team that designs and implements database-driven Web and e-Commerce solutions for web-enabled devices. • This experienced technical developer will handle all aspects of including developing J2EE components, support and debugging code. • Will lead, design, code, test, document, and deploy web-based applications and technologies. • Will function as the principal developer and provide guidance to other developers. • May receive baseline guidance from web architect management, but will be a hands-on developer and write code, create technical design documents and develop appropriate test scripts. • Will significantly participate and contribute to architecture design sessions. • Responsible for the delivery of quality software solutions, the delivery of advanced, integrated and diverse technical products, meet timelines within prescribed resource limits in accordance with client requirements and departmental standards. • Provide technical support for existing and new customer applications. Resolve technical issues in a timely manner. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree required. • Must have information systems (IS) skill set mastery: programming java, applications knowledge, system development methodology (SDLC), application infrastructure, and quality management. • Must possess extensive knowledge of current and new Web technologies. Experience in developing n-Tier programs. J2EE, object oriented analysis, object oriented data modeling, and programming.
