Currently seeking a Cognos Developer with the following skill sets: • Designing, building, testing, and improving Cognos BI reports • Knowledge of reporting and analytics using the Cognos BI Suite, especially Cognos BI 10.1. Hard requirement. • Ability to query Oracle and/or SQL Server databases. • Should have knowledge about Cognos Framework Manager. • Java experience will be a plus. Position Description: • Ability to gather and analyze end user requirements, build specifications • Should be able work independently as a Developer/Designer. • Need to be very independent and be able to challenge delivery artifacts and solutions. • Willingness and ability to adapt to new BI technologies • Ability to provide solutions to a tight deadline • Sense of ownership. • Need to understand overall system architecture quickly and be able to work on inflight items and immediate deliverables. • May need to work latest mobile technologies. • Minimum 6 years of IT experience including 3 years of Cognos BI experience.
