The Lead Business Architect - Digital Capabilities, Plenti will be
responsible for driving best in class solutions for our digital platforms,
the creation of technical processes and requirements, as well as developing
quality documentation to ensure smooth integration with our backend APIs.
The business architect is also responsible for base-lining all relevant
processes and requirements and for completing a technical gap analysis and
driving a capability plan into working product functionality for Plenti
digital.
*Responsibilities include:*
• Define the technical integration of new features planned for Plenti
digital assets (web, Android, and iOS)
• Define the operational processes, technical connections and data
interfaces to enable new web and mobile features
• Support the internal teams throughout the entire development and
engineering lifecycle, including the requirements phase, the test phase,
and the launch phase
• Define the integration processes, interfaces, and business rules based on
the existing standards
• Elicit and analyze business requirements (change requests and new
features)
• Develop technical solutions in conjunction with Product Owners, Technical
Architects and Engineering
• Create detailed specifications
• Provide business/functional support for sponsor teams that require new
features within Plenti digital
• Develop, manage, and maintain end-to-end processes, including maintaining
the documentation
• Consult with internal departments regarding feasibility and best practices
*Qualifications:*
• Passion for challenging the status quo and driving highest quality
technical solutions within the web and/or mobile space
• 5+ years experience in defining and managing technical capability
requirements for web and/or mobile
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
or other related field, or has equivalent work experience
• Expert in Business Architecture practices, with a deep understanding of
its relationship to and integration with other architecture disciplines,
including Information Architecture, Application Architecture and Technical
Architecture.
• Understanding of API economy and ecosystem design patterns and principles
• Demonstrates ability to lead enterprise level technical blueprints
• Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a
thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and
translate them into technical application and operational solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to
interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and
subject matter experts
• Very strong knowledge of requirements capturing methods and tools
• Ability to work closely with Product Owner team to drive best in class
mobile and web customer experiences
• High problem-solving competency and customer orientation
• Experience with Agile development practices a plus
• Experience with, or knowledge of, the loyalty space and processes
strongly desired
