*Position = Hadoop DeveloperLocation = Wilmington, DE ( Local Only)Duration = 12 -24 months* *Interview = Face To Face* *Big Data Hadoop Developers.* *Job Functions:* Work with other members of the development team, Application Services and business owners to research and resolve production incidents. Assess production incidents and provide technical approach recommendations based on technical specifications from incident details and business requirements. Code and test software to retain logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity in accordance with Capital One 360’s policies, procedures and guidelines Ensure code is within acceptable defect tolerance of design specifications and take appropriate actions for all violations Review the work of other developers and provide guidance and input based on best practices. Properly track progress, effort, issues and resolutions. Communicate and document status to leadership and members of Java community. Work with IT and business test groups to support quality and acceptance tests. *Experience, Qualifications and Technical Skills and Abilities* 5+ years work experience developing applications a must. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of and experience in: Java, J2EE design patterns, Web content presentation methods (HTML, XSL, etc.), JDBC and SQL, SOAPUI, Spring Framework including Spring MVC, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration, Webservices, CSS, JavaScript Additional experience should include Windows desktop and server applications (such as MS Office and SQL Server), some Unix, and basic hardware systems. Solid interpersonal skills. Ability to communication clearly in written and verbal form. Exceptional problem solving and debugging abilities.
