Note: Our client is looking for a person with data skills. The most likely candidate is an Oracle developer who also has data modeler skills. I highlighted some areas of emphasis below. The person must want to understand the business as well as the technology. They need to make data related, proactive recommendations to the business and the IT teams to help improve the functionality of the system. This person will become the SME on what data exists, what it is used for, where the data is located and how the data is organized and most importantly, how the business can use this data to improve services for their customers.
