The Senior WebSphere Developer will have a primary role in the architecture,
design, and development of SOA Services utilizing J2EE, WebSphere ESB,
running on Windows Server Platform, to BRMS (ILOG) solutions.
Responsibilities will also include the implementation and configuration of
WebSphere Application Server as well as the design, development,
configuration and implementation of a data communication bridge framework
between J2EE and .Net applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the architecture, design and development of WebSphere
applications to support BRMS (ILOG) solutions.
Lead the planning, configuration and implementation of WebSphere
applications.
Lead the architecture, design, development, configuration and implementation
of a new data communication bridge framework between J2EE and .Net
applications.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Significant skills and experience in WebSphere experience.
Significant skills and experience in Java / J2EE
Significant skills and experience in WebSphere Application Server.
Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Hands-on experience building, deploying and/or supporting distributed
applications built with EAI and SOA technologies (ex. *J2EE on WebSphere,
JMS, EAI, MQ, EJB, JSP, JDBC, SQL, Ant). *
Significant skills and experience with .NET/C#
Strong Knowledge of XML and related technologies.
Expert working knowledge with TCP*/IP, OSI model, NETBIOS, SNMP, and SMTP. *

Effective communication skills with the strong ability to concisely
articulate technical issues and solutions to senior level management.
Strong ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and
management through written and verbal communication.
Strong ability to communicate with customers, internal departments, and
other outside parties in a professional manner.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to
details.
Strong project management and technical leadership skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields preferred.
8 years of professional software development experience.
5 years of professional *Java / J2EE* experience.
3 years of professional *Web Sphere* experience.
3 years of professional* .NET/C# *experience.
*IBM WebSphere Certifications* preferred.
7. Software development experience in financial services or real estate
related industries a plus.
