*Location: Rockville, MD*

Must be local to MD due to a required in-person interview.
One of our clients in Rockville, MD is looking for a Java Developer with
Sybase experience for a 1+ year project. This candidate will be developing
a 401k participant’s application. They are integrating the systems.
*Skills:*
- Java 1.4 and over
- Strong UNIX/Linux skills
- Experience developing or maintaining UNIX/Linux Shell scripts
- Strong SQL knowledge is a required including the ability to create
stored procedure, embedded SQL etc. Sybase is primary DB, Oracle is ok
* *
- Experience using tools like Eclipse, IntelliJ etc
- Experienced with automated testing tools such as Junit, XmlUnit,
DBUnit
- Experience working with source control like CVS
- Must be comfortable working in environment with emphasis on
automated testing and continuous integration
- Experience working in and knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum) a
plus* *
- Groovy experience is a plus
- Knowledge about Autosys job scheduling and creating JIL files a plus
