*Position: Database Administration*
*Location: Wichita, KS*
*Duration: 12+ Months*
*Description:*
- · This position requires Database Administration experience,
which includes all phases of the project life cycle and direct customer
contact.
- · Experience in SAP implementations is required.
- · Experience with Oracle database development and
administration with a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
- · Other experience in the following areas is also required;
Data Warehousing development and concepts, Store Procedure
development/programming and optimization, Oracle
configuration/optimization, Disk space optimization for performance (RAID
and SAN), database design, logical and physical data modeling, Oracle
performance monitoring tools, database replication, and implementation of
DR (disaster/recovery) strategies is desirable.
*Skills Required:*
- · Strong experience with Oracle 10g/11G, Oracle Grid(OEM 12c),
RMAN, Unix Shell scripting, database tuning, and configuration.
- · Strong experience in supporting SAP Application running on
ORACLE databases including installation, upgradation, migration.
- · At ease in understanding and usage of BRTools
- · Experienced in Database cloning using traditional as well
Syscopy methods
- · Experience in oracle OID is preferred
- · Strong experience with SQL coding and tuning
- · Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation
- · Experience working with Implementations of applications
supporting the manufacturing domain is desirable
- · Excellent Communications skills (Oral and written),
interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
- · Provide after hours on-call support on rotational basis.
