*Qualifications/Requirements:*
1) Oracle Apps DBA with over 3 years experience in 11i Oracle Apps.
2) Worked on 24 x 7Production Support or implementation both single node and
dual node environments.
3) Understanding of cluster configuration & load balancing configuration in
ERP
4) Be willing to stretch beyond the normal working hours
5) Should have worked on Unix platforms preferably on Sun Solaris
6) Good understanding of Oracle Apps cloning methodology Extensive Patch
Application experience
7) Participated in at least one upgrade project Oracle DBA experience of
over 5 years experience
8) Worked on all kinds of Database versions
9) Worked on Databases of bigger sizes
10) Worked on Backup & Recovery issues

· Windows L2 and L3 support. Day-to-day maintenance and
administration. Implementation of standard service requests. Basic problem
resolution and troubleshooting. Handling escalated issues. Participation in
Server Restoration and doing Root Cause Analysis. Consistent support of
resolving complex and new technologies issues.
· Responsible for the construction and implementation of new Windows
based infrastructure based on business requirements and adhering to tight
operations, security, and procedural models. Assist SE in new processes,
dynamic to MS changing infrastructure.
· Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, security, and availability
of new Windows based infrastructure based on business requirements and
adhering to tight operations, security, and procedural models . Implement
new patching processes and recommend how properties can improve.
· Operate in complex, highly-secure, and highly-available, operations
environments and interact with the technology domain experts required to
maintain those environments. Learn environment well enough in 1-year to
develop tools and new reports.
· Responsible for developing ITIL procedures and best practices
standards. Updated and create TSG for some properties, whenever time allows.
· Reporting, areas such as new designs, tool creation, and data
gathering techniques. Created new tools and reporting structures.
· Automation, areas such as scripting to reduce overhead. Create SPAM
tools to reduce labor cost.
· Escalation of issues to Tier 3 that are beyond the capability or
scope of Tier 2.
· Tier 2 will work with the MSE and SCSM ticketing system.
· ITIL knowledge a must
· System administration (setups/patching/troubleshooting
· Server rebuilds, experience with Windows Server 2003, 2008.
· IIS 7.0 and share point experience required.
· SQL server 2003, 2008 experience is required.
· Knowledge of MSE, OWB experiences a plus.
