After modifications are completed and tested, contractor will be assigned other programming/system maintenance tasks as appropriate, and will be retained through mid Sep. Years of Experience: 6 to 11 years of experience in the field or in a related area Job Description: ITS Infrastructure Applications is a part of the central IT organization for the University of Virginia. Focus areas for this group include central Identity Management, Public Key Infrastructure, University email solutions, and Reference Identity Management, Public Key Infrastructure, University email solutions, and authentication and authorization in support of access controls for the University Network. The Programmer Analyst III will perform software maintenance and implement new features for existing production systems; research and troubleshoot system anomalies; and perform transactions in support of routine service requests. In particular, this contract position is being hired to complete modifications to UVa's Network Setup Tool for the Mac OS. The needed modifications (which are relatively minor) will likely be completed early in this tenure, but the new Mac OS version which is anticipated later in the summer will require additional testing and this position will be responsible for any changes needed to make the tool function properly on the new OS version as well.
