Related duties include ensuring journal entries and account reconciliations are prepared correctly and timely. Responsibilities also include supporting budgets and forecasts for multiple P&L line items. The position is expected to perform ad hoc analysis on a regular basis, assist in special projects, support recurring reporting for leadership and identify opportunities for process improvements. Finally, the position assists in the period-end financial closing process and P&L budgeting, forecasting and analysis. The position will report to Controller/Director, Financial Reporting in the Columbus, Ohio headquarters. RESPONSIBILITIES: Must possess ability to: • Prepare/review journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations • Perform financial and operational analysis to generate commentary and recommendations • Support preparation of functional area budgets and forecasts and identify and explain expense trends • Ensure compliance to GAAP, Enterprise and departmental standards and controls • Comply with legal and ethical standards • Work in partnership with multiple non-financial stakeholders • Maintain excellent customer service with partners • Assist with special projects • Clearly articulate and present ideas and explanations QUALIFICATIONS: • Three to five years of related accounting, audit or financial analysis experience • Strong understanding of GAAP • Ability to prepare work timely and accurately • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong problem solving skills • Leadership skills and interest in advancement • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and large-scale accounting systems with SAP experience preferred EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
