The *CLSA *is a newly created position designed to develop analytic methods and frameworks to bring data into council assessments and provide insight from the actual analytics. You are: · An excellent “story teller” and have the ability to collect and construct insight into clear, logical written presentations designed for an executive audience · An individual that owns their tasks and drives propjets to completion with limited supervision · A proven relationship builder based upon trust, respect, effective communication and achievement of common goals · Experienced in identifying potential process improvement and needs and streamlined operations opportunities while fostering collaboration and support · Skilled in resolving issues and strives to build long-term solutions and roadmaps to meet the needs of the council and internal shareholders. · Comfortable working on a team in a results oriented environment You Will: · Own the maintenance and accuracy of support plans and the processes that underpin this work. In conjunction with CLS and involved Specialty Advisors, execute the pre-support council assessment process, conduct background work in areas relevant to a council’s business effectiveness, assure consistency in support plan preparation for council leadership review, track progress against plan metrics, and consolidate data and learnings for all support plans for overall effectiveness. · Develop, and regularly improve, a data tracking methodology for periodic monitoring of council health. Elevate concerns as they arise. This calls for interface with existing data sources (InfoScout, Dashboard, audited results, Salesforce, Chatter, data and other sources as improved) · Prepare, or support preparation of, all internal information requests on Councils and Council CEOs where the profile provides insight. Specifically, research CRM and dashboards for National CEO Council Visit Briefing Sheets. Review and consolidate applicants for Council Engagement Teams, add the demographic data and make initial recommendations on council mix based on balancing criteria and applicant background & interest. · Support the Council Leadership Strategists in special meetings or engagements needing data analysis, offering insight on patterns/trends that help inform problem solving. · Proactively develop key business tools/methods for gathering & sharing promising practices council critical to business success. · Handle requests from CEOs who are trying to navigate GSUSA resources and staff. Assure that information is received and contacts have been made; assure the loop is closed for the CEO. · Source Mission Moments and follow-up with CEOs to gain understanding of the topic and willingness and availability of CEO to share with peers · Complete major entries for CRM on campaigns or other multiple council entries. · In partnership with a Council Leadership Strategists, develop the plans for CEO engagement on major strategic initiatives. Interface with Council Leadership Program Analyst, Talent Advisor, other Specialty Advisors and GSUSA Initiative SMEs (e.g. CEI) for design on these forums. You Need: · A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; Master’s Degree preferred. · A minimum of 3-5 of experience of related work in a similar capacity as an analyst that has collected and reviewed data, built tools/models to manage information, been the “story teller” AND contributed to operational improvements. · A keen ability to take data/information and distill into insight · Superior analytical and evaluation abilities · Knowledge of, and ability to develop and use, process for business effectiveness · Strong organization skills with attention to quality detail · Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; comfortable working with a database based system to “pull” information required to complete analysis. · A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards · Ability to travel 10-15% of the time. Most working travel is 2-3 days at a time and could result in the occasional evening or week work. · The position is based in New York City.
